Visiting Poet 2012

In 2012, we had the pleasure of hosting poet Paul Cookson, who captivated our school with his fantastic poetry. From young students to teachers, everyone had a great time as he engaged us through fun actions accompanying his poems. His playful spirit shone through as he strummed a gold ukulele, bringing laughter until our jaws ached. Cookson also conducted workshops with each class and participated in the opening of our new school library, signing a few of his books. His visit truly made a lasting impression!

  4. From the oldest to the youngest we all had fun

  5. He got us to do actions with his poems

  6. Even the teachers took part

  7. He also played a gold ukulele

  8. We laughed that much our jaws ached

  9. He then did workshops with each class

  10. Opening our new school library

  11. Signing a few books

  12. He was a real hit!
