ELQ Processing at uclan Revised definition of HEFCE fundability status (15/4/08) • From 2008/09, HEFCE will no longer fund UK or EU students aiming for a qualification equivalent to or lower than one they already hold (ELQ) • Exemptions • Disabled Students Allowance (DSA) • Foundation Degrees • UG Medicine, Dentistry, Social Work, Youth Work, Nursing or Teacher Training • Professional Bodies e.g. Architects Registration Board (ARB) • Strategically Important or Vulnerable Subjects (SIVS) • Targeted allocation

  10. Capture of HEQ from Students For 200809 we made the collection of a Highest Entry Qualification mandatory as part of the OnLine enrolment process. The ELQ process is triggered, along with fee assessment by this action so the higher fee can be displayed during the online enrolment process. This Qualification type grouping is set up using SKVSSDT The HEQ set of values are linked to Qualification type groups through DATA 2 on SKVSSDT
