  1. Bella’s Destiny By “Susan”

  2. Forks Washington Forks is a city in the United States. It is popular for salmon and rainbow trout fishermen. Olympic National Park is a World Heritage Site. Tourists can hike, sightsee, snowboard, ski, and visit the glaciers .

  3. Hoh Rain Forest • There are huge 500- year –old trees and about 150 inches of annual rainfall Timber grows there faster than anywhere else. • There are very many animals here: • Roosevelt elk. • Birds such as the varied thrush, western robin, winter wren , pileated woodpecker, gray jay, junco , and raven • Black – tailed deer, cougar, black bear , river otter, Douglas squirrel jumping mouse and shrew dwell there as well. • Insects, reptiles, and amphibians.

  4. How werewolves came to be… According to Quileute legend, the shape shifters were wolves who are the spirit of warriors who protect people who are In danger. They first protected the women of their tribe. Men only turned into werewolves if they believed that the people were in danger.

  5. Quileute Werewolf named Kweeti

  6. The Cold Woman…. • The Cold Woman came to the village . She was the most beautiful woman. An elder from the village saw her and when he tried to warn the others she killed him. She kept killing people until YahaUta came along with Taha Aki and his wife. The Cold Woman killed YahaUta and Taha Aki was so angry he turned into an old gray wolf. He started fighting the Cold Woman and that’s when his wife made a decision. She felt that if she did not sacrifice herself that the Cold Woman would kill everyone in the village. She stabbed herself in the heart , and the Cold Woman turned to her because she could not resist the smell of the blood. This gave Taha Aki the chance to bite her in the throat. His two sons turned into wolves and helped finish her off. After this Taha Aki never turned to human form again and stayed by his wife’s body to protect her, and he never returned to his tribe.

  7. Bella • I think that Bella should stay the way she is. I don’t think she should turn into a vampire. • Right now she has: • New School • New friends • Her mother • Reuniting with her father • She’s smart • She’s pretty

  8. Bella’s Destiny • Bella would lose everything that is important to her life if she became a vampire. She would lose all her new friends. • Eric likes Bella and he would like to date her. Eric and Bella both have in common

  9. Jessica • Jessica and Bella both like to shop and go looking for prom dresses. • They have lunch together at school all the time • They go surfing together at the beach

  10. My Summary I think Bella should not become a vampire because it would break her heart to lose her relationship with her father . She is just in the midst of reuniting again with her father and she would also lose her new friends and she would not be able to come out in day light and she would not be able to see her mother ever again I also think another reason why Bella should not become a vampire is because she can never turn back into a human.

  11. If I could turn back time…….

  12. Anxiety I would work on my anxiety more so that I would be a stronger and braver person. Anxiety changes my life. I have noticed that when I let my anxiety take over, I miss out on many fun and important things in life. When I was fifteen, I moved to Winnipeg and away from my friends. I wish I could go back to that time because my anxieties didn’t keep me away from my friends, now they do. My anxiety also has kept me away from finding work. I see a psychologist at the Health Sciences Centre and together we talk about how to help me through an anxiety moment. I use self-talk to get me through when I feel scared. I hope I can work in the future.

  13. My Grandparents I lost two of my grandparents in the past year and fifteen days apart from one another. My grandma and grandpa both died of cancer. Both of my grandparents were very truthful about what was happening to them and their illness. They talked to me about their situation. They also told me that they would be in Palliative Care until the end. Ms. Baksina told me I was able to write a letter to both of them before they died so I could tell them how much I loved them. I thanked them for being part of my life. I am glad I had a chance to spend time with them. If I could change one thing, I would like to have more time with them. I would have liked to have gone shopping, watch movies, or even sleep over before she got too sick.

  14. Love • I had a boyfriend in Brandon. It was not a very good situation. I wish I knew then what I know now. • I wouldn’t have gotten involved with him or dated him. I wouldn’t have given him my personal information. • I have learned that long distance relationships don’t work out.

  15. Reflection Life has a funny way of working out. We can’t change the past but we can learn from it. • I would not like to go back and also lose what my family and friends that I have now. • Bella has a chance to change her future. She would be stupid to give up what she has for one person. She would hurt her mother and the relationship with her father and her new friends. • Love is not worth hurting family and friends.

  16. Web Quest Reflection • I would like to say that using the Web • Quest allowed me to think about what I was reading and relate it to my family and life. • This is the first time I have ever done this. • I fell into the story and I enjoyed doing this web quest • Because it gave me a chance to learn about the story and the setting.
