History of WRDB • Developed by Dr. Chris Wilson at Clayton Engineering, Inc. • Database developed to support a large data collection effort and model development. • 1994, database to support Dr. Roy Burke at GAEPD on the Chattahoochee River Modeling Project. • Since 1994, numerous enhancements to support large state-wide datasets, model calibrations, and TMDL development. • Currently supporting version 4.4. • www.WRDB.com

Purpose of WRDB • Developed to store water resources data. • Archival and transfer of data and modeling projects. • Allow for tracking (QA/QC) of all data. • Perform data analysis functions: • Summary statistics (7Q10 low flows, percentiles, etc) • Graphing (histograms, time series, longitudinal) • Water quality assessments (impairments) • Common database structure for data from various sources. • Use and/or export data for model calibration.
