Internship Objectives Summary of Daily Activities Maintain and update player websites. Answer phones and email. Log and file client media appearances from magazines, TV, ect. Work on current project and/or help with whatever is needed that day. Assist with all media requests. • To assist in the daily tasks of several NBA clients, teams, sponsors and endorsement opportunities. • To better understand the business that is professional sports representation. • Try and learn as many different aspects of athlete representation as possible.
Project Description • Help launch, create, promote and maintain website for #1 NBA draft pick Greg Oden. • Establish contacts at different local and national media outlets, NBA teams and organizations affiliated with those teams. • Provide ways to make site easier to navigate, more user friendly, and have better options. • Help implement those changes to the site, as well as gather feedback from visitors of the site.
NBA party at the LG Beach House in Malibu. • Manage all media requests for interviews and photos. • Go over with media personnel what will be asked in interviews, what is and is not allowed. • Monitor interviews, make sure everything goes as planned.
