Climate of Costa Rica • The average temperature of San Jose, Costa Rica in April is approximately a high of 77°F, and a low of 62°F. • On average, there is approximately 1.5” of rain in April. • Costa Rica has two seasons: dry and wet. The dry season occurs from December-April, and the wet season occurs from May-November. Therefore, April is one of the best months to travel because there is far less rainfall.
