  2. 2001 NORCECA CONTINENTAL CONFEDERATIONACTIVITIES REPORT NORCECA, is an International Organization responsible for the Administration of Volleyball at a Continental level. Representing and working very closely with FIVB, and Private Enterprises, NORCECA promotes Volleyball Competitions and Activities as Promotional Opportunities, Entertainment and Enjoyment for Spectators and Participants.

  3. 2001 NORCECA CONGRESS NORCECA is the representative body of FIVB. October 2001, NORCECA Congress was held in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, with the presence of Dr. Ruben Acosta Hernandez

  4. 2001 NORCECA CONGRESS During this important Congress, authorities were elected: Mr. Cristóbal Marte Hoffiz, (Dom) was elected President. Mr. Alejandro Salinas, (Mex), was elected Executive Vice-President.

  18. JULY NORCECA – MEN’S SENIOR QUALIFICATION CHAMPIONSHIP (GROUP A) Costa Rican Men’s National Team won the event qualifying for the NORCECA Senior Championship.

  21. JULY NORCECA - MEN’S SENIOR QUALIFICATION CHAMPIONSHIP (GROUP B) Dominican Republic Men’s National Team won the event and qualified to play in the NORCECA Men’s Continental Senior Championship.

  22. JULY 2002 MEN’S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFICATION TOURNAMENT (GROUP N) Results:  Canada 1st USA 2ndDominican Republic 3rd

  23. JULY 2002 MEN’S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFICATION TOURNAMENT (GROUP M) Cuba qualified for the 2002 Men’s World Championship.
