Google Chrome • Google Chrome este un browser de web gratuit dezvoltat de Google. • Chrome este al treilea browser ca număr de utilizatori, după Internet Explorer de la Microsoft, fiind folosit de aproximativ 10 % din utilizatorii Internetului • Cu peste 300.000.000 de descărcări, Chrome a devenit una din cele mai populare aplicații open source.

  3. Chrome are numeroase facilităţi, cum ar fi navigarea cu file, un sistem împotriva phishing-ului și al spyware-ului, precum şi o facilitate de gestionare a descărcărilor.

  4. Facilităţi ale browserului Google Chrome • Dezvoltatorii browserului au vrut să producă browser-ul care oferă „cea mai bună experienţă posibilă pe web celui mai mare grup de oameni posibil”. • Browserul este bazat pe motorul de randare Webkit, conformându-se cu majoritatea standardelor web în vigoare (HTML, XML, XHTML, CSS 1 și 2, ECMAScript (JavaScript), DOM, MathML, XSL, XPath, SVG - parțial). Este implementat parțial și suportul pentru CSS3, care nu a fost încă standardizat, și este în lucru implementarea standardelor SVG și APNG. Este de notat și suportul complet pentru imaginile PNG, care încă nu este complet în cel mai important browser concurent (Microsoft Internet Explorer), care nu oferă suport pentru transparența alfa.
