EAN13 text font creation and printing procedure

  3. EAN13 Barcode Font • It is a linear type text font methodology and stands for European Article Number. This text font symbology contains 13 digits. These 13 digits are grouped in the following manner. • The Left Group – It mainly contains 2 to 7 digits. This group also stores digit 1 by using even and odd parity scheme • The Right Group – It contains 8 to 13 digits in which 13 is the check digit.   5. EAN13 Font Designing • This information is prepared by BarcodeFor.US, a label making organization. Before designing EAN13 font at first you need to install DRPU Barcode Label Maker Software. Now run It. Go to the software screen. You will see two tabs here. These are the two modes for label designing 1-Barcode Settings 2-Barcode Designing View mode.   6. Barcode Settings Mode • This is the simple and fast way of barcode label designing. Go to the Barcode Settings tab. Here you will see a predefined stock of labels under Linear and 2D text font methodology. We have selected Linear text methodology and EAN13 as barcode font type here. You can add Barcode value, barcode header and barcode footer as per your labeling need. You can also adjust General Settings (horizontal, vertical, top, bottom, left and right margins), font settings (barcode header font, footer font and value font), color settings (barcode color, background color etc) and image settings (image file type) here according to you.   8. Barcode Designing View Mode • This is the advance method to create your product specific barcode labels. Go to the Barcode Designing view mode and insert barcode icon from the tool bar. After clicking two times on it a new window will appear in front of you. There are also available two types of text font methodology including linear barcode and 2D barcode. A predefined set of text fonts is also available here. We have selected linear text methodology and EAN13 as font type. Here you can also adjust value, size, font and color settings according to you.   11. EAN13 Label Printing Settings • For label printing at first you need to go on the print in the Tool bar. After clicking on it a new window will appear in front of you with two printing modes. These are Pre Define label stock mode and Manual mode.
