  2. 1 Practical Powerpoint for Teachers August 17, 2005, ULM AIRW 223, By Mike Beutner • Using a Captured Image in PPT • When you see something on your screen that you want to “capture”, hold down • the Ctrl key, then press the Print Screen key. • Open the “Paint” program. Start => Programs => Accessories => Paint • In Paint, paste the image. Edit => Paste • A captured image will appear. • In Paint, click on the Select button, as shown. • Drag your mouse to form a rectangular selection, as shown. • Hold down the Ctrl key, then press the C key to copy • the selection. • 6. Open Powerpoint. • 7. Hold down the Ctrl key, then press the V key to paste • the selection. 2 3 4
