Family Water Needs FUN FACT: More than 1,300 gallon of water is required to produce a 12oz steak • About 6,800 gallons of water is required to grow a day’s food for a family of 4
Water power • Water powers water wheel, mills, electricity and many other objects, produce 75% percent of daily objects
HOW WATER IS USED TO MAKE SCARFS FUN FACT: One sheep produces anywhere from 2 to 30 pounds of wool annually. • Wool, which is the most common material used in scarfs, come from sheep • The best sheep come from Europe, so most companies fly to Europe to buy some • The sheep need to grow their coats to produce enough wool to make a scarf • To grow, a sheep needs to eat the right plants, such as grass, clover and forb • Forb is their favorite meal, but require lots of water to grow
