Asia-Pacific aeronautical Common Regional Virtual Private Network (CRV) • The network is an Asia-Pacific-Region-wide Internet Protocol (IP) communication network. • The network is an upgrade from a current point-to-point communication infrastructure employed in APAC. • The network will utilize a private commercial network from a single Communication Service Provider. • The network will initially carry Air Traffic Service Message Handling System (AMHS) data and potentially other types of data such as voice over IP. • The network will be a fundamental foundation for the reliable and secured support of current and future ATM information services such as inter center communications, sharing of surveillance data, exchange of Air Traffic Flow Management data, System Wide Information Management (SWIM), etc. • Start of operations is planned for end 2016, if confirmed by APANPIRG An Asia-Pacific aeronautical network: CRV is planned for end 2016 - a wholly dependable and reliable communications infrastructure for aeronautical communications in Asia Pacific and with other ICAO regions, facilitating the Global Air Navigation Plan (GANP 4th Edition) B0-FICE, B0-NOPS, VoIP and B1-SWIM modules Title When title is clicked:
