  2. What does Mosaic mean?? • A Mosaic is like a puzzle. There are a whole bunch of different sized pieces, but the pieces fit all together to form a picture Just as there is a bunch of different cultures and people in Canada- they all fit together and work as a Nation

  3. Cultures grow and change. Cultures appear and disappear

  4. How do they change • Internal Forces This means attitude changes and the way people do things changes

  5. External Changes • Outside influences change the culture • Could be because of technology influencing or a group taking over.

  6. For many years, Atlantic Canada developed with input from three main groups French English Aboriginal Then many other groups started to arrive, especially after the 1960’s. These groups have all contributed to cultural change, influencing the politics, economy and social life of the region
