  26. The Master Franchise Opportunity • The business and investment package offered by So Easy® Foreign Language Institutes includes a range of options. The Master Franchisee can/has the choice to develop: • A solid company owned and operated network of so easy Foreign Language Institutes • A strong franchise network of sub-franchised so easy Foreign Language Institutes owned and operated by motivated franchisees.

  27. Master Franchise in Action • So Easy® grants the Master Franchisee rights for a given territory to a Partner - Franchisee. The Master Franchisee has the right to exploit and develop the specific market. • So Easy® and the Master Franchisee sign a Master Franchise Agreement which regulates the terms and conditions of the cooperation.

  28. Business Development Plan Part of the Master Franchise Agreement is a mutually agreed Business Development Plan. The development plan quotes the estimated progress of the development of newSo Easy® Foreign Language Institutes within the Master Franchisee’s territory in a specific timeframe.

Financial Agreement The Master Franchise also Agreement regulates the financial part of the cooperation, including the territory fees, the initial franchise fees to be paid for each new foreign language institutes, the ongoing royalties, as well as the marketing fund and the advertising procedures that the master franchisee has to implement inside his territory.

  30. Key Terms (1) • Term of Master Franchise Agreement: normally 9-12 years (with an option of renewal). The term may vary from country to country depending mainly on the real estate lease terms and on other factors of the local market. • Master franchise rights: In order to activate the right of Master Franchising, and to grant licenses to sub-Franchisees, it is mandatory to operate a successful pilot Foreign Language Institute for a reasonable period of time inside the territory, before starting to develop a network of Franchisees.

Key Terms (2) • Territory: Normally a whole country, but this varies depending on the size and other demographic factors that may characterize a territory or a geographical region. • Geographic Exclusivity: Exclusivity is guaranteed right from the beginning, even if expansion via franchising is initiated after a certain period of time.

The aim is to secure smooth and successful operation of each so easy foreign language institute. Train the Trainer, as well as re-training, is offered through physical and on-line training
