  2. Where…? This is happened in japan. Effecting Alaska. Effecting California

  3. What has happened and found ? - Sending radioactive waste in the pacific ocean. - 11 million liters of radioactive water. - Causing caner if consumed or inhaled . - 500 times more then the legal limit. What was found… -Radioactive fish 50ft. Of the coast line. - 200-300 dead body’s found on beach’s. - Radioactive kelp off the coast of California.

  4. Who has been effected…? • The coast of Alaska. • The people of Japan. • Animals off the coast of Japan in the Pacific Ocean. • Where the Pacific Oceans leads to (North America, Australia, South America).

  5. Affects on human health • Because of the tremendous devastation and loss of life and the worry about radiation, you may find the situation extremely stressful. • Floodwaters, downed power lines, wet electrical outlets, interrupted gas lines, and debris all pose health and safety risks. • Any wound or rash can become infected. • Keeping items such as family photos, favorite music, or materials that provide spiritual support are now mostly gone.

  6. World effects • Japan’s earthquake caused the loss of the cooling systems of two nuclear reactors there. • Currently, an emergency has been declared at the Fukushima Dai-Ichi reactor as hundreds of thousands are fleeing the area. • Whirlpools are common following tsunamis. • Radioactive kelp found off the coast of California.

  7. Terms • In Japan there is a very low amount of fresh water because of all the waste being dumped into the ocean and being dumped into rivers and lakes. Also the amount of sewage sitting around in rivers and lakes. The weather and the climate has changed drastically. The currents has been brining in huge tides. The biodiversity count in the waters around japan are very low. Therefor the productivity is very bad. The amount of radioactive fish and kelp that had been found is big.

  8. A solution! • Donate money, raise awareness, donate clothes, donate canned food. • Go on a mission trip to Japan, fundraise a bunch of money. • Change of climate, get sick, not many people might not want to donate money for one specific cause.
