Describing The senses • How do we remember information when we are young? • We use our senses. • How many senses do we have? • *We have got five senses. • What are they? • *They are seeing, feeling, smelling, hearing, and tasting.
Describing Things What does it feel / taste / sound like? - It + feels / tastes / sounds + adj What does a knife feel like ? It feels sharp. What does this song sound like? It sounds beautiful.
Also we can use verb ,to have, with an adj and noun to describe things This cake has a nice taste. = This cake tastes nice. It has a horrible sound. = It sounds horrible

Myname is Ashraf. I communicate in sign language I can `t hear sounds or speak but Ican read and write. I can spellwords with my fingers.
To spell with your fingers,you need to know thenames of parts of your hand.

After you know the names of the hand parts . Let `s see some examples of making letters by hand:- English vowels are made by touching the fingers of the left hand.
“ F “ is made by putting the first two fingers of the right hand onto the back of the first two fingers of the left hand. “ I “ is made by touching the top of the second finger of the left hand with the first finger of the right hand. “ P “ is made by making a circle with the thumb and first finger of the right hand and holding it next to the first finger of the left hand.

Louis Braille • He was born in 1809. He went a blind as a result of an accident in 1812.In 1819 he joined the World `s first school for the blind in Paris. In 1821 he met Captain Barbier who invented a way to send messages to be read byfingers when there was no light.
What did Braille do? Louis made the system better and students found it easy to use. It is now called Braille system for the blind. At the age of 17, he became a teacher at his school. He wrote his first book in Braille in 1829. He died in 1852.
