Ohshima Group • The Ohshima Group was established in 1952 in Tokyo, Japan. • The Group, which is renowned for its tradition of excellence, employs 650 people throughout its Seven facilities worldwide. • Five high-volume sheet metal facilities with in house tool-making capacity, Ireland, Japan, Malaysia and Mexico.

Ohshima Ireland • Ohshima Ireland Limited was founded in 1989 and employs over 100 people. • Established to service the European branches of Japanese OEMs such as Pioneer, Fujitsu, Mitsubishi, Brother and Toshiba. • The company has partnerships with Europe's largest OEMs including, 3Com, DELL & Gateway • Partnership with Bolger Engineering to provide CNC Soft Tooling solutions to our target market. • Main Market segments are IT and Home Entertainment systems.

Production Facilities • World-class production facilities • Latest technology which sets us apart within our industry. • Manufacture a diverse range of press metal products from a variety of materials, including mild steel, aluminium, coated steels, brass, stainless steel and copper. • Products range in thickness from 0.10mm to 4.5mm.

  7. Production Facilities Production Capabilities • Ohshima production processes utilise the latest technology in both Robotic Transfer Press lines and Progressive Power Presses. • CNC parts tooled and run at our CNC facility in Shannon.

Production Facilities • Transfer Handling Lines (THL) • Automatic transfer press to press • Turnover stations allowing complex bends. • Press capability component size 1000mm x 680mm and from 0.15mm to 4.0mm. • 2 x THL 110 tonne C frame with automated transfer line (6 Presses) • 1 x THL 150 tonne C frame with automated transfer line (5 Presses)
