Supplies • Three Ring Binder with Dividers • Pencils ( No pens allowed) • Loose-leaf Notebook Paper (No spirals) • ≥ TI-83 + Graphing Calculator (Algebra Class Only!) • Spiral or Composition Notebook
Grading Policy • Grades for each grading period will be calculated as follows: • 10% Classwork/Notebook • 20% Homework (Assigned daily) • 30% Quizzes (One or two day notice) • 40% Test (Announced well in advance) • 20% Semester Exam (The semester exam is 20% of the semester grade: 1st 9wks = 40%, 2nd 9wks = 40%, & Semester exam = 20%)
Notebook (Three Ring Binder) Three Sections: • Homework (date with date assigned) • Warm-Up/Classwork/Class Notes • Quizzes/Fantastic Five Test *All assignments in each section must be arranged in chronological order.
Make-Up Work for Absences Only! Students must make up all work missed in this course within 2 days of the absence. Students are responsible for getting make-up assignments out of the make-up folder, from the homework website or by calling the homework hotline and for approaching the teacher for after school tutoring if needed. After schoolhelp is available most Thursdays from 2:30 PM until 3:30 PM in Room 708.
