Group 3 - Thought process • The graph shows growth but 2014-15 is only a projection. • Projected global growth rate – 3.6% • Local structural reforms by countries to avoid the 2008-09 situation. • Having said that, downside risks remains and it will be difficult to measure if we are growing or not ! • Global report on Manufacturing( by JP Morgan) has fallen to a five-month low, but remained above its average for the current 16-month sequence of expansion.

Contd.. • So we conclude that we are not really expanding - at the same time we are not at a risk of moving towards another recession, at the moment – not as of now!!! • Policy makers worldwide , however, are prudently trying to put all kind of regulatory framework(s) to ensure that we don’t go, where we boldly went in 2008-09.
