FACILITY RENTAL POLICIES • Orange County Administrative Regulation 8.12 governs use of County facilities • County facilities can be used by the public on a “cost use” basis if • Facility is open and available • Space can accommodate the desired use • Not illegal or immoral activity • Facility can be used at no cost if the use will not require any additional or unscheduled janitorial, security, or staffing services.

  4. FACILITY RENTAL POLICIES • Departments/Divisions having jurisdiction over facilities which lend themselves to use by the public are required to establish and set use policies and cost schedules. • Policies and cost schedules are required to be uniformly applied .

  5. FACILITY RENTAL POLICIES • Rental Charge • $25 per hour for each of the first 4 hours • $10 per hour for each additional hour • $50 refundable deposit • Proof of insurance

  6. RENTAL FEE WAIVER Criteria to consider fee waiver: • Federal Tax Exempt Non-profit status (501C3) • Non fundraising activity • Positive community interest and open to the general public at no cost OC Community Action Policy
