EGUSD SNAPSHOT • Schools = 64 39 elementary; 9 middle;9 high; 4 alternative; 3 other • Student Population = 61,900 • Student Demographics- 20% African American- 1% American Indian- 20% Asian- 6% Filipino- 22% Latino- 2% Pacific Islander- 29% White • Additional Student Information: • 51% of students qualify for free/reduced meals • 16.4% have limited English proficiency • More than 80 languages are spoken
