  2. Team Norms As part of the John Wallace Middle School Team, we hold each other responsible for the following team norms: 1. Every meeting has a purposeful and meaningful agenda that is established prior to the meeting in order to keep the conversation focused. 2. Each meeting starts and ends on time with all participants present at the designated start time. 3. We listen and speak respectfully with an open-mind until the other person is finished sharing. 4. We come to all meetings prepared and conduct ourselves in a professional manner without distraction (i.e. using electronic devices, grading papers, etc.)

Your thoughts… • “Learning targets inform the most important data-driven decision maker in the classroom – the student – by providing information about what is important to learn, how the student will be required to demonstrate that learning, and what will count as evidence of mastery” (Moss and Brookhart, 2012) • Based on the information above, how do you think learning targetsdiffer from learning objectives? Today’s Learning Targets We will summarize all fundamental aspects of Learning Targets For Understanding To know how well we are learning about Learning Targets, we will use the “Criteria for Success” rubric during our learning today (purple sheet) We will show this by collaborativelydeveloping and presenting our findings on Learning Targetsin a short presentation
