  3. Definition/general facts Chemical substance Changes the normal body functions Intoxicant to achieve a changed state of conciousness (physical and mental)‏ The most spread drugs are:alcohol,nicotine,caffeine & cannabis Hurtfullness depends on the dose rate and the application

Heroin Chemical Diamorphin greek: the hero High potencial for addiction Euphoric, analgetic and sleepy Not toxic for the vital parts Body reacts with feeling of sickness and breathlessness A lot of endorphins--> they feel happy and satisfied(forget their worries)‏ Leads to death with the 'golden shot' Most people are integrated in the social life and nobody recognized them as a drug addict A lot of people get ill with HIV or Hepatitis because of the acus Sniffing(Epistaxis) and inhalate ( evaporates on aluminium foil)‏ Snow-cone (smoke)‏
