What's C.O.P.E.? • Personalized challenge, experienced outdoors Sequence • Challenge by Choice • Ice breakers / Initiative games • Assess the group and assess individuals • Trust games and exercises • The group is supportive • The individual is responsible • Low elements • Group and individual self-assessment and discovery • High elements • Aka “Confidence Challenge” • Push limits, safely and by choice

Next? • Make Project C.O.P.E. part of your training program • “Lab” • Youth and Adult leaders • Become a facilitator • Adults (>20 yoa), youth (>17 yoa, or Venturer) • Mar 28-30 2014, Camp Snyder (limit of 20) • Sep 12-14 2014, Camp Snyder (limit of 20) • Commit to 2 weekends during C.O.P.E. season • Apr-Jun (Mar 15 , Apr 12, May 03, May 17, Jun 15) • Sep-Nov (Sep 27, Oct 04, Oct 18, Nov 01) • Help at Goshen Scout Reservation (summer season) • Join the NCAC COPE/Climbing Committee • Send e-mail to COPE@waisanen.us • Do C.O.P.E. at Camp Snyder AND Goshen • Ask about C.O.P.E.
