Enhancing Education in Africa through ICT: SchoolNet and MultiChoice Collaboration

SchoolNet Africa is dedicated to integrating Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) into African education. A recent initiative in Ogun State, supported by MultiChoice, has established a facility that equips 10 local schools—both private and college—with advanced educational technology. In addition to providing ICT equipment, the partnership includes a comprehensive three-day teacher training program. According to Mrs. Ronke Bello, Assistant Coordinator of SchoolNet, this project aims to seamlessly integrate various ICT tools, from computers and internet resources to traditional media, into the curriculum.
