He uses graphics to capture the content of presentations, conversations and debates as they happen. And this can cause confusion and, occasionally, consternation. • On large wall-charts, he uses colour, spatial organisation, pictures and, yes, words to: • • Record a discussion’s content • • Identify common themes and threads • • Make big ideas and complex concepts more digestible • In short, he seeks to organise the thinking behind the talk and to make it visible to everyone
