CMT Prooptiki at a glance • CMT Prooptiki is an independent management consulting firm fully committed to assist public and private sector clients and civil society organisations. • Prooptiki was established in 1992 and is quality certified with ISO 9001 and 1435. • The office is organised in three Business Divisions/Untis, The International Relations and EU Projects Unit, the Research and Socio Economic Developmnet Unit and the Management Consulting Unit. Each one is led by a very well experienced Head Director and is composed by Research Analysts, communication professionals, policy analysts, economists, senior/junior Consultants and Managers.   12. Our Work (Interventions in the field of Health & Social Care) CARE : Common Approach for Refugees & other migrants' health An EU Health Project. The intervention will focus on offering and providing health checks at the entry points of refugees & Migrants in order to ensure access to health care for all refugees and migrants in need of health protection (www.careformigrants.eu). Oral Health Promotion and Dental Health Recording programme of the Hellenic Dental Association, funded by Colgate Palmolive. The project includes raising awareness and dissemination activities such as the “Oral Health Month” for teachers and dentists etc. (www.oral-health.gr). “Strong Teeth” An oral health promotion intervention in primary schools in Greece. The project includes primary school teachers training, dentists’ visits for clinical examination and preventative interventions, oral health education in classroom, dissemination and communication activities (www.geradontia.gr). “The truth” SHIPSAN a health promotion project, in primary and secondary schools, against smoking habit that includes: teachers training, field sur-vey to students about smoking habits, health education activities in classroom and national communication campaign against smoking (www.thetruth.gr). The project involves the training of individuals and hospital dentists and doctors on the early detection of oral cancer but also informing the general public on the subject. (www.oralcancer.gr) Assessing the usefulness of an E.U. ship Sanitation Programme and Coordinated Action for the Control of Communicable Diseases in Cruise Ships and Ferries (www.eu-shipsan.gr) . Oral Cancer Tobacco Cessation Guidelines for High Risk Groups Operational Refugee and Migrant Maternal Approach The ORAMMA project develops an integrated, mother center approach, culturally oriented and evidence based approach for all phases of migrant and refugee women perinatal healthcare, including detection of pregnancy, care during pregnancy and birth, as well as support after birth (www.oramma.eu ) TOB-G project aims to develop and implement an innovative and cost effective approach to prevent chronic diseases related to tobacco dependence. The specialized guidelines for high risks groups will be developed according to ENSP’s evidence based and good practices in tobacco cessation. High risk populations are considered those who suffer from cardiovascular diseases, COPD, type 2 diabetes, adolescents & pregnant women. (www.tob-g.eu )

Our Work (Capacity Building & Life Long Learning) “ESTEEM”, aims at designing and implementing a training program on transversal by combining e-learning with a remote internship/mentorship program. The project will offer a dynamic approach on teaching transversal skills by incorporating e-learning with project-based work in order to maximize the learning outcomes for the trainees. (http://esteem4skills.eu). “EWC - Effective Writers & Communicators” A Leonardo da Vinci project with the aim to increase young professional thinking, writing and communicating skills through e- learning (www.effectivewriting.eu). E-learning course (e-learning platform & training handbook) for soft skills development. Dementia Community project Operational function of 17 Dementia Consultation Centres through the utilization of existing social structures, providing prevention and intervention programmes. Thus, an innovative service delivery model is implemented, including also capacity building to municipalities and training of professionals (www.dementia-community.gr). SHIPSAN TRAINET A European project funded by the General Directorate for Health and Consumers of the European Commission The project aims at developing and establishing an EU integrated strategy for safeguarding the health of travelers and crew of passenger ships and for preventing the international and trans-national spread of diseases through ships. “DIONI II”, an EQUAL programme aiming to support Women’s entrepreneurship through an interregional system for the support of social economy. Among the activities implemented were the development of “trade houses” as means to promote and support women's entrepreneurship and microfinance products for the first time in Greece. Although, the trade houses developed in Athens and Alexandroupoli in the NorthEast of the partof Greece had significant results in supporting both women entrepreneurs and social entrepreneurship, their sustainability was not ensured beyond the project lifetime (http://www.tradehouse.gr/first.htm). “3C - Learning for Capacity, Capability and Active Citizenship”, a Grundvig programme aiming to enable older adults through learning to access the changing situation of the labour market, and become active citizens (www.3cproject.eu). “TELEMACHUS”, an EQUAL programme aiming at the Development of an integrate model that enhances social economy of the island regions. Among the project’s activities are the development of services for the support of social economy and social entrepreneurship in 4 islands in Greece, e-mentoring services to social entrepreneurs, training, networking and development of a “social economy observatory” in the islands. The project aims at promoting equality and combating discriminatory actions of police officers by addressing the need for provision of specialized and appropriate training solutions to the Police officers and also through piloting a proactive intervention on the ground with the participation of all the relevant stakeholders Prevent Roma discrimination providing mediation skills to police.

  14. Our Work (Studies & Evaluations) On going and ex post evaluations of Psychargos Mental Health Reform Programme from 2010 up to 2015. Reports can be found at http://www.psychargos.gov.gr/Default.aspx?ID=26188&nt=18&lang=1 Study for the development of a national home care services system including state of the art, needs and demand assessment and suggestions for potential organizational framework for service delivery. Feasibility study for the development of a National Cancer registry at the Hellenic Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Specialization of the Strategic Axes of the National Strategy for Social Inclusion (2015). The project focused on the development of an integrated version of the National Strategy for Social Inclusion, based on extensive database analysis, desktop research and interviews with key stakeholders. External evaluation of entrepreneurship programmes in secondary education in Greece. Evaluation of the primary care programmesimplemented in Greece and funded from the Operational Programme “Human Capital Development 2007-2013”. National Public Health Action Plan 2008-2012, including action plans for 16 diseases and risks factors and financial and technical studies for calculating the costs and effects of interventions External evaluation of the national programmes of intercultural education in Greece (2014). The project focused on the evaluation of the national programmes of intercultural education, held in Greece and abroad between 2010 and 2014, funded by the ESF. The programmes were targeting Roma children, children of the Muslim minority living in Thrace, as well of the children of the Greek diaspora. This project included also providing policy recommendations for the development of the national strategy for intercultural education for the period 2014-2020. Evaluation of the actions implemented from 2007 until 2015 for the development of the institutional and operational capacity of the Labor Institute of the General Confederation of Workers of Greece Support of the National Roma Contact Point for the monitoring and coordination of the implementation of the National Roma Integration Strategy (2015). The project focused on designing a robust mechanism for the monitoring of the National Roma Integration Strategy, including performance indicators and targets, developing an updated version of the Strategy based on desktop research and interviews with key stakeholders, as well as creating a network of active stakeholders. Research on prostitution and Women Trafficking for sexual / economic exploitation in Greece. Men’s and Women’s health in Greece: health status, health services use and health determinants. “Health Map Development and Operation of Health Map of Greece”, a project for the development of the national health statistics system and the collection of updated health data in Greece (http://www.ygeiamap.gov.gr ). National research in order to map Roma settlements in Greece, as a part of the Support of the National Roma Contact Point. The project aims at promoting equality and combating discriminatory actions of police officers by addressing the need for provision of specialized and appropriate training solutions to the Police officers and also through piloting a proactive intervention on the ground with the participation of all the relevant stakeholders (http://proactivemediators.eu) Participatory Approach for Raise Awareness and Discrimination against Sexual and gender Orientation in healthcare sector The project aims to create an accepting environment and equal access for LGBTQI people through participatory activities of training and sensitization of health professionals, as well as to fight the discriminations in the health system, based on sexual orientation and identity or expression of sex, while emphasizing the rights & needs of LGBTQI persons (https://paradiso.gr). Inventory, mapping and evaluation of existing public services for migration and integration of third country nationals with an emphasis on one-stop shops. (http://migrationservices.gr) Developing and supporting multi-sectoral police reporting procedures to prevent and respond to domestic violence against women BREAKing stereotypes through role models and promoting Roma integration in the labor market The ARIADNE project aims to develop and support multi-sectoral cooperation between key authorities, services and organizations involved, to prevent and respond to domestic violence against women (https://ariadnenetwork.eu). The project develops, pilot test and assess an innovative multi-stakeholder methodological framework that will bring into the spotlight positive role models to support and motivate Roma in pursuing successful employment pathways and highlights the benefits of Roma inclusion and train relevant stakeholders in overcoming stereotypes and promoting diversity (http://breakingstereotypes.eu) . Local Alliance for Integration Operational Refugee and Migrant Maternal Approach The ORAMMA project develops an integrated, mother center approach, culturally oriented and evidence based approach for all phases of migrant and refugee women perinatal healthcare, including detection of pregnancy, care during pregnancy and birth, as well as support after birth (www.oramma.eu ) The aim of this project is geared toward that direction by creating a platform, whereby consultations between actors of local society and TCNs will take place. Via this platform, both groups will have the chance to exchange opinions, share experiences and practices; establish strong relationships, enable common activities, thus becoming the representative voice into the “Immigrant Integration Councils” which operate as early as 2010 in Greece.
