Edmonton Grads • Basketball was still considered an exhibition at the Olympics during this era • The grads played 27 games in total, with a record of 27-0. They were the first undefeated Canadian women’s team at the Olympics. • outscore their opponents from other countries 1,863 to a mere 297(their opponents scored 1 for every 6 they scored) • Their coach, Page, said they were to be "Ladies first, basketball players second” • Sports gave women a place in society, not home
