  2. HISTORY The New England Patriots became part of the NFL in the 1970 merge of the AFL and NFL. They were known as the Boston Patriots until they moved to Foxborough, Massachusetts.

  3. During the 1970s, the Patriots made it to the playoffs twice but lost in the first round both times.

  4. Super Bowl Appearance • In 1985, the New England Patriots made their first appearance to the big stage….Super Bowl XX. Unfortunately they lost 46-10 to the Chicago Bears.

  5. The Dynasty Begins • In 2000, the new England Patriots hired Bill Belichick as the head coach. In 2oo1, the Patriots won their first Super Bowl by defeating the St. Louis Rams 30-27.

  6. Another Year, Another Trophy • After a disappointing 2002 season, The Patriots won two Super Bowls back to back in 2003 and 2004 by defeating the Carolina Panthers and The Philadelphia Eagles.

  7. Best QB ALIVE It would not have been possible for the Patriots to have won their Super Bowls without the awesome performance from their Quarterback, Tom Brady.

  8. Tom Brady • Tom Brady was named Most Valuable Player in 2 of the 3 Super Bowls. In both games, he lead his team back to win in the 4th quarter.

  9. Randy Moss In 2007, the New England Patriots made one of the best decisions ever by signing one of the greatest Wide Receivers of all time, Randy Moss. Adding Moss to the roster gave the team a tremendous boost. Moss recorded 1,493 yards in his first season as a Patriot.

  10. 2007 SEASON In the 2007 season, the New England Patriots finished the regular season with the perfect record of 16-0. Their final record that year was 18-1 after losing the Super Bowl to the New York Giants.

  11. 2009 Season This season, the Patriots are currently 7-5. They are currently leading their division but not by much. Hopefully we can still win the Super Bowl.

  12. Conclusion • Since 2000, the New England Patriots have been considered the best dynasty in the last 10 year.
