  4. Place she lived • Born and raised in Singapore • Learned to speak Malay, Mandarin, and English • Learned to get along and respect Malays and Indians • Singapore is a multi-racial country

  5. Favorite Food • Laska Bread with butter • Curry Soup • Chili crabs

  6. Childhood • Would go jogging with her dad on weekends • Would skate on Saturday mornings • Homework was a half hour long!

  7. 3rd Grade and Favorites • It was hard and had a lot of projects • Had to pair up with Malaysian Indians • Favorite activity was swimming

  8. What I learned • Interesting that her homework was only thirty minutes long! • Surprised she got second place in swimming • Happy to learn about her culture • We both like to swim
