The Learning Disability Development Fund (LDDF) aims to implement "Valuing People Now" by strategically allocating limited resources this year. With a primary focus on funding staff wages and essential support services such as the Partnership Board and person-centered planning facilitators, the board faces tough decisions on what to prioritize. Notably, popular programs like the Summer Scheme and advocacy services will continue, but certain areas like employment, travel training, and befriending won't receive funding. Board consensus is crucial as we make these critical choices.

The Learning Disability Development Fund (LDDF) is money to help make Valuing People Now happen. • We need to agree what to spend the money on this year. • We will not be able to pay for everything that we would like to do. • So we have to decide what the most important things are.
More than half of the money will pay the wages of staff: • Support to Partnership Board • Two Person Centred Planning facilitators • A Health and Social Care Facilitator • The Summer Scheme will continue as it has been a big success. • We will continue to fund advocacy services to support people when they need it. • There is money for consulting and communicating with people.
There are three priorities that we will not be able to fund: • Employment • Travel Training • Befriending • Volunteers • Mates 2 Dates
