  5. Science year/Science week 2002 • Target-every school in East Riding to participate • Conference in the East Riding • School based activities • Exhibitions/Theatre groups/Workshops • Science Clubs started-BAYS sponsored • University of Hull-Sci-X • Industry days • Lots more hopefully!

Specialist schools- a massive expansion • “We are announcing 33 Technology Colleges, 18 Language Colleges, 16 Sports Colleges and 12 Arts Colleges, including 41 schools in Excellence in Cities areas. This expansion in the increase in the number of Specialist Schools emphasises our commitment to deliver a first rate secondary school system.” Estelle Morris Education and Skills Secretary 21 June

The resources are drawn from a number of  locations : the  Internet , ASE Books and Images, and contributions from members of the ASE . SciShop is intended to help teachers and students to locate suitable resources which are related to specific learning objectives of the KS3 National Curriculum
