What is your role? • There are many jobs in the TV studio • You should chose a starting job that matches your personality • E.g. Outgoing, good reader= anchor • Good with technology= technical director • Artistic= graphics • Musical=Audio & music playback • Natural leader= floor manager, director • …and many more jobs
Teamwork • How this “machine” works. • The importance of working together. • Those who “stop the machine” hold up the entire project since everyone plays a vital role. • The ability to work on a “real” deadline and get things done for the Dtv network. • Treat this like a “job you love” instead of a “class you have to take.”
Where do we start? • Begin thinking about a job you want to do. • Not everyone will get their first choice. • We will leave opportunity for change sometime during the semester.
