West Virginia: Integrated with AmberVision • Unless parents decide to opt out of the program, all West Virginia children in public schools will be registered with Ambervision using their school directory info. • Securlinx, our Ambervision partner, can ensure that student photos will be correctly matched with directory info as long as they have two points of reference. • As such, schools and counties will be asked to require their photographers to provide digitized copies of student photos with the child’s name and birthday. • Schools will provide the photo/name/DOB to counties who will then release the information to Securlinx to be integrated into the Ambervision system free of charge! • This new system will ensure that the burden of work shifts from the schools and counties to our Ambervision partner, Securlinx.
