Combs Elementary ScienceFair January 28th, 2014 8:30am-12:00pm • Serve as a judge for K-5th grade science projects in exciting categories; • Behavioral/Social/Health Sciences • Biological Sciences • Earth Sciences • Environmental Sciences • Ecology • Physical Sciences • Sign-up sheet will be available today & next week.

  6. IFTSA Area Meeting • April 4-5th • Witherspoon Cinema as potential location • Central Atlantic Division College Bowl • We can still use more people on our committee.  • Help plan event and help set up and run the event during that weekend • More info to come in the following weeks!

  7. Raleigh Rescue Public Service

  8. Thanks again to our Raleigh Rescue group who fed over 50 people during the holidays! • In talks with IFFS for Service Raleigh – March 29th • An annual citywide day of service started in 1998 by NC State • Goal: 30+ participants • Mark off the morning and afternoon of March 29th on your calendar! • The Golden Can Competition raised 500+ lbs of donations for food banks! Great work! Public Service

IFT Scholarships • Undergraduate/Graduate IFT Feeding Tomorrow Scholarships for 2014-2015 • provides scholarship funding for undergraduate and graduate students pursuing degrees in food science • Applications can be submitted mid-February • NCSU FSC Scholarship • Details to follow in February
