Power is the rate at which work is done, indicating how quickly energy is transferred. For instance, a car's engine with greater power can accelerate the vehicle faster. Power can be calculated using the formula Power = Work or Power = Force x Distance / Time. In this context, work is measured in Watts (W), time in seconds (s), force in Newtons (N), and distance in meters (m). For example, if a tow truck exerts a force of 11,000 N to pull a car 5 m in 25 seconds, the power generated is 2,200 W.
