Rising Serum Creatinine in a 20-Year-Old Post-Renal Transplant Patient: A Case Study

This case study presents a 20-year-old male with a history of live-related renal transplant four years prior, who is currently experiencing elevated serum creatinine levels. The patient received a kidney from his mother in March 2004 due to chronic interstitial nephritis from reflux nephropathy and is currently on triple drug immunosuppression. On examination, he showed a blood pressure of 120/70 mm Hg, mild pallor but no pedal edema. A renal graft biopsy was conducted to investigate the cause of renal dysfunction.
