  1. Login to Computer User Name: Last Name 4 #s (Gerber1234) Password: ID Number (123456) Once logged in, go to gmail.com and login.

  2. Go to gmail.com and login (don’t create another account!)

  4. 2. Add your picture for gmail chat

  5. Browse for your file.

  6. *To find the picture we took • Go to “Extras” • “Student Extras” • “English” • “GERBER” • “1 Pictures” (first folder at the top) • Click on your class period

  7. Once in your class folder, • Choose to view jpgs as large icons When you see your face, select that picture!

  8. Once selected, crop and apply changes.

  9. 3. Create Signature: Your full name and each RISE period

  10. After you’ve saved your signature --

  11. 4. Edit your name

  12. Create screen name that will appear in subject and in g-chat

Email might include • your talents/interests, your pet peeves and fears • what interests you • what makes you laugh -- or feel unhappy • information about your family • your experiences in junior high or school before that • your feelings about starting high school/the three RISE subjects • your goals and expectations for yourself or for us • your family's goals and expectations for you • what you wish your last teacher(s) knew about you • any questions or concerns you have for us • whatever else you'd like to share!
