Why did E lasmosauru s have such a long neck?. S am. Elasmosaurus could stretch its neck to catch food. An Elasmosaurus’s neck is 13 metres , which is half of it’s length. It can be 26 metres long. E lasmosaurus would attack pteranodon when it was catching fish.
