Purpose • Certify personnel to be Live Fire Adjuncts with Gwinnett County Fire Academy and be able to actively participate during Live Fire Training. • Improve our use of Thermal Imaging Cameras. • Refresher for already certified Adjuncts as some rules have changed since burn building put in place.
Rules • Complete classroom portion. • Shadow a certified Live Fire Instructor during Live Fire Training for ½ day session, in various positions.
Terminal Objective • All students will have an understanding and have the ability to implement NFPA 1403, Gwinnett County Live Fire Guidelines, and properly use TIC’s used by Gwinnett.
