  3. GOVERNMENT.COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY,SAMANABAD,FAISALABAD Government College of Technology (or GCT), Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan was formerly known as Polytechnic Institute. The institute was established in 1966 and upgraded to Government College of Technology in 1981. The college is affiliated with the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore. GCT is located on 30 acres (120,000 m2) area plot on the northern side of Samanabad Railway Station,on Risalewala Road leading to Faisalabad international airport. This college offers 3-year Diploma of Associate Engineers courses in: 1:Electrical Technology 2:Mechanical Technology 3:Civil Technology 4:Instrumentation Technology 5:Auto and Farm Machinery Technology 6:Food Technology 7:Textile technology The college runs degree level courses in Technology: B.Tech Pass and Honors in Electrical Power Technology B.Tech Pass and Honors in Electronics and Communication Technology It offers a 2-year Higher National Diploma (HND) in: Textile Technology

  7. WINCH DYEING MACHINE In this machine the knitted textile material is dyed with direct. Reactive, vat, dyes.

  8. STENTER MACHINE This machine is used for the width control of the fabric in textile industry.

  9. JIGGER MACHINE The jigger dyeing machine is used for the dyeing of woven fabric that are weaved on loom machines.

  10. COLOR FASTNESS MACHINE Color fastness machine is used for the washing result of the dyed or printed fabric.

  11. PILLING MACHINE TESTING FOR THE PILES OF THE BLENDED FABRIC.

  12. WRAP REEL MACHINE The warping reel is used for the count of the yarn that is used to be in the fabric.

  13. COLOR TESTER In this machine the ,sunlight, moister effected fabrics is checked for the better result of the textile materials.

  14. TENSILE TESTER The strength of the yarn or the fabric is checked after bleached, dyed, printed or finished fabric.
