Advantages of Clearwire • The ability to be able to make structural decisions without being connected to a network, to get data. • Using clear wire technology allows remote access to interact with co-workers to make decisions in the field. • Implementation and access is more cost effective then conventional coaxial cables or fiber optics.

  3. Opportunities for Clearwire’s Capability • Larger region of portability available (ex. Philadelphia going wireless) • Short term tenant, (ex. eliminating the need of running expensive cables, and wires. Cuts back man power needed for implementing a network. • Setting up quick short term network, that can accommodate large numbers of people in temporary situations. (Ex. Hurricane Katrina, Cell phone towers getting disabled VOIP provides telephone access.)

  4. Advantages in Problem Solving • Allows for communication regardless of location or wired networks. • Realtors can gain access for service, such as MLS listings remotely in the field. • Clients are trying to find a house, they can solve the problem on the spot.

  5. Opportunities For Clearwire Capabilities You can access information faster than you do now e.g. Car lighters, hot spots We don’t have to fill out papers(paperless) Remote(ties all ends up) Communication with other offices

  6. Advantages of Project Mgt • Tools and techniques to achieve project goals within time and budget constraints • Allows different levels of mgt to simultaneously communicate with each other to make decisions

  7. Capability of Project Manager Work flow control-tying in all elements of project mgt, problem solving and decision making To reduce costs for consumers relating to construction of expensive networks Communication VoIP- no expensive LAN needed

Opportunities • Cost effectiveness – VoIP technology eliminating expensive services • Remote access – allowing access to telephone and internet in a wide area eliminating need for hardware and costly networks • It expands existing network portability E.g. intranet access wherever Clearwire exists

  9. WiMax Capability • Sprint Nextel - large market share and better marketing campaign • Sling Broadband - Clearwire is better because they have a smaller marketing • AT&T – coverage area is too small
