In Summary… • Section’s Membership Situation • There were totally 875 members until the end of 2011, while there were only 16 fellows, 85 senior members, 529 members, 125 GSM, 35 associate members, and 85 student members. • According to the SWOT analysis, the number of members has potential to be increased. • Section MD Plan • Encourage chapters to recruit new members; professors or students. • Recruit more IEEE members in Southern Taiwan by events and recognition. • Hold more activities and workshops to increase the number of student members.
