  3. Do You Know What are the Symptoms of Bad Shocks? • Car struts, or shocks, whichever one your vehicle has, wear out over time as your vehicle accrues mileage. They wear out even more quickly when it is necessary to drive over bumpy streets that need repair. When shocks go bad, the results can be dangerous. Though, exchanging the shocks, or struts, the results are enhanced stopping performance as well as increased vehicle immovability and driver control. • The following are four common symptoms of bad shocks: • Excessive Bouncing – When your vehicle hits a bump, it bounces on the coil springs, and continue to bounce longer than normal. • Vehicle nose dives or “squats” – When braking, the front end of your vehicle dives. When accelerating, the rear end of your vehicle “squats.” • Tire "Cupping" – Every time the tires hit the ground, a little bit more of the tire is worn off, generally referred to as “cupping”. You will feel the tires factually bounce up and down as you drive. • Leaking Fluid – Inside every shock is a piston and hydraulic fluid. Sometimes the fluid can leak out. A tiny leakage is normal, but a large leak is a sign of worn shocks. Let’s Discuss With Our Auto Technicians By Calling on: 308-381-2295
