  3. Welcome (Back)! • Thanks for joining us for another amazing semester. We look forward to getting to know each of you! • But first, we’ll introduce our Executive Board. • Nickelle Smith, President • Meghan Pryce, Vice President • Peta-Gay Sheerwood, Treasurer • Ann-MakirMagloire, Historian • Rochelle Alleyne, Secretary • Don’t forget to “Like” UFNABJ on Facebook and to “Follow” us on Twitter! You can submit you ideas for #hottopics there.

  4. Quick Survey Please take a moment to answer a brief survey. The answers to these questions will be used in UFNABJ’s upcoming “Family Feud Night” as a part of the Black Student Union’s Black History Month program.

  5. Contracts • Remember • To be an “official member” of UFNABJ • You must sign and agree to all terms in the contract • Members must be “active” • Seniors must be active through Spring • All other members should be continuously active • Pay your dues ($15); Deadline is Feb 26, 2014. • Attend at least 5 meetings per semester • Participate in Game Day concessions • ONLY Official members can: • Participate in Zion Buzz/Magazine • Be eligible to receive graduation cords • Run for executive office • Be sponsored for the National Convention • Put “membership” in NABJ on their resume • Any conflicts should be taken up with an E-board members • Questions?

  6. 2014 NABJ Convention • Where: Boston, MA • When: July 30, 2014- August 3, 2014 • Cost: • On your own: Varies, but it could be anywhere from $800-$1200. • If you are accepted in the Student Multimedia Project: FREE • With UFNABJ Sponsorship: TBA • Interested? • UFNABJ will be having an interest meeting to discuss the convention following our next general body meeting on January 29, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. in Weimer 3032.

Treasurer’s Report • Concessions • Dates: Feb. 14 (Baseball), Feb. 19 (Baseball), Feb. 27 (Baseball), March 1 (basketball)**, March 4 (Softball)**, March 7 (Gymnastics)**, March 12 (Baseball), March 18 (Baseball), March 28 (Baseball), Apr. 2 (Softball), Apr. 18 (Baseball). • Sign-up for a shift on our Google Document (the link will be in the minutes). • Dues: $15; Feb. 26, 2014 is the deadline to pay! • UFNABJ Polos: $10

  9. Zion Magazine/Buzz UFNABJ will be changing the structure of Zion Buzz and shifting its focus to Zion Magazine. However, if you are still interested in helping to produce filmed content for the Zion Magazine website, please see Nickelle Smith for more information. Stay tuned for the changes!

  10. Tabling UFNABJ is working to spread the word about all of the things we’re doing! One of the quickest and easiest ways to do this is through tabling and we need YOU to help us! So, if you have some free time during week and are interested in signing up for a shift please sign up here!

Too bad it was tarnished by ratchet party flyers.
