Join us for the .TEXTvre programme meeting in London on February 24, 2010. This collaborative environment leverages the German Grid infrastructure to advance textual scholarship through partnerships across various institutions. Our objectives include integrating with King’s College London’s infrastructure, utilizing national services, and embedding VRE practices within scholarly activities. Presenting three text-based projects—Early English Laws, Gascon Rolls, and Inscriptions of Roman Tripolitania—we will discuss progress, use cases, and future collaborations, along with tools like GATE to enrich our scholarly community.

Objectives for TEXTvre • Integrate with institutional infrastructure at KCL (repository, preservation, ...) • Integrate with and make use of national infrastructures (NGS) • Embed VRE within institutional practices at KCL – textual scholars – and collaborating institutions • Integrate tools to support these scholars (scholar-driven)
Progress so far • Use cases – 3 text-based projects: • Early English Laws • Gascon Rolls • Inscriptions of Roman Tripolitania • Integrated TextGrid with repository • Prototype installation at KCL
