  2. What is Graphics? • Graphic communications is everywhere you see words and images.Books, magazines, billboards, clothing, web sites, CDs, documents, credit cards. Someone working in graphic communications made them all. It’s the industry that revolutionized society with the printing press and now leads a new revolution into the digital age. Innovative. Idea-driven. Important. Bringing information to the world. Graphic communications could be the career choice for you.

  3. Classroom Materials: • Three Ring Binder • (4) Tab Dividers Notes, Class work, Test, Handouts • Loose Leaf Paper • Pencil/Pen • A textbook will be issued to you that may be kept in the classroom.

  4. Grades are based upon the following: 50% PROJECT GRADES Business Cards, Letterheads, Envelopes, Notepads, Stickers, Mouse Pads, T-Shirts, Buttons, Etc.

  5. 20%ClassworkReview Questions, Worksheets, Etc.Notebook CheckNotebooks will be checked once a grading quarter.

  6. 30%TEST and QUIZ GRADESThis includes any chapter test or quiz. For a TOTAL OF 100% of your total grade.

  7. CLASSROOM FOLDERS INCLUDE: • Class Syllabus (read & signed by student & parent) • Student Info Sheet (completed in class by student) • Insurance Form (completed by parent/guardian) • Family Survey (completed by parent/guardian) • Get to know (completed in class by student) • Class Rules (read & signed by student & parent) • I’ve been told…. (completed in class by student) • Print It Word Search

  11. Profanity isNOT PERMITTED! Report ALL Injuries. No injury is too Small. NO ONE should operate equipment WITHOUT Teachers permission.

  12. Sharpen Pencils& Dispose of TrashBefore Class Startsor during Clean Up Timeat the end of class. PERMISSION and a PASS Must be given before leaving classroom.

  13. Stay on TaskUntil Clean-Up Time TEASING other students WILL NOT Be tolerated. DISRESPECT to TEACHER or OTHERS WILL NOT be tolerated!

  14. The TEACHER WILL DISMISS THE CLASSNOT THE BELL! Abide by all GHS CLASSROOM RULES & ALL STUDENT HANDBOOK RULES!
