Use Case #1 Scenario • The Chicago Board of Trade is the largest agriculture exchange in the world. • He has a hard time getting connected to all people to inform them when the stocks are changing, making a group meetings or planning events. • He decides to offer a tool that can get all his co-workers socially connected tool for the purpose of facilitating their work. • It is called "Social Connected." Use Case #1 Requirements • Personal profile: to make categories of workers such as Trader, Exporter, Miller, Corporate Farm Group, Banker, Insurance Company, and Merchant. • Privacy Role: to protect all important information from the hackers. All workers will get their own username and password . • Personal Calendar: to figure out the appropriate time to make the group meeting or events. • Group Chatting Room: to serves as a room where we can exchange ideas and do negotiations about stock price, crop price, and their thought about the products. • Universal: to ensure that all workers can work everywhere in the world. • Search function: to search for upcoming events and which stocks price have changed.   13. Use Case #1 How this tool would work • All workers will get the email alert that right now the stocks price is changing. And all the details will be posted in their profile. This will help all workers to make decision whether they should sell or buy it, this is going to be real-time alert. • Carlos will create an events, and those event will be posted on all workers’ profile. And all workers need to mark attending, may be attending, or not attending. Then, he can make a head count of the attending guests and prepare spaces for the meeting. Social Connected

Use Case #2 Requirements • Her major requirement is to have a profile on ASK. • Personal profile will indicate how she can help other members on ASK • She can search various student profiles, alumni profiles and involved staff profiles. • ASK – currently houses a web-based for mentors to access the group-site to check member profiles. • They can register for career events , search for jobs, and talk to career specialist all around the world. • Users are allowed to create a question based blog • Users can post the events they are attending • Post their schedules • Express themselves in a safe environment • Ask is offered through Career Center at DePaul and eRecruiting. • In order to access this site users must have a username and password. Use Case #2 Benefits of this Tool • Over 1,000 DePaul Alumni and supporters involved in the ASK volunteer network. • Faculty members utilize ASK for specific projects or Curriculum support • Melanie’s Benefits with ASK: • Connecting current students with alumni’s in the same career field for more insight • She helps review portfolio’s and resume’s so they can post them on ASK • She can contact alumni’s to speak at networking events • Make an appointment on an online schedule to practice their interviewing skills Social Connected
