  1. ESA XMM-Newton, 12 December 2003The fuzzy object at the centre of the frame is one of the galaxy clusters observed by XMM-Newton, as it was 7000 million years ago. This cluster is made up of several dozen galaxies We derive these counts without any adjustment, using models previously normalized to the local temperature distribution function and to the high-z (z = 0.33) TDF. We find that these models having Omega_M in the range [0.85-1.] SC Vauclair et al, astro-ph/0311381
