  5. College students who complete Algebra 2 in high school are nearly twice as likely to graduate from college as those who do not.

  6. Employers say that high school graduates they hire need the same skills and knowledge that colleges require of incoming freshman.

  7. 90% of the fastest growing professions—and 60% of all current jobs—require postsecondary education.

  8. After they experience the workplace, 70% of high school graduates surveyed wish they had worked harder and taken more rigorous courses in high school.
